His research explored the relationship between financial literacy, behavior, decision-making, and overall financial wellness, insights that continue to influence his approach to wealth management and client advice today.
Prior to joining Seven Hills Capital, Grant was a key member of one of Raymond James Ltd.'s fastest-growing advisory practices, helping grow assets under management by more than 400% while assisting in the transition to a fully discretionary, fee-based wealth management model. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in institutional asset management and worked as an equity trader, experiences that shaped his deep appreciation for risk management, capital allocation, and investor behavior.
Grant holds an MBA from Athabasca University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brock University, a Diploma in Sales & Marketing from Niagara College, and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.
His investment philosophy is grounded in discipline, humility, and process. Rather than attempting to predict markets, he focuses on helping clients make better long-term decisions through a blend of quantitative and macro-based investing, thoughtful planning, and a deep understanding of the human side of wealth.
